The project uses performance as a tool, understanding that performance culture is the act of something as a form of performance rather than something that is itself a performance. The project features a designers’ flagship store that focuses on the experience the building’s users, and the building itself, to recreate performance. The building develops architecturally so that the building not only functions as a performance space but also performs to itself, elaborating the performance of the users around it to interact with the environment and the architecture.

LCD smart glass technology used to enhance the performative quality within the building, turning transparent when someone enters the building, starting a performance of its own.
